Historians are looking back for future models for labor. Among ideas: reviving labor-sponsored general circulation media.
From a post on the LAWCHA.org site: “Today’s labor movement needs to create and fund professional labor media. The AFL-CIO and its affiliates should not just be active on social networks and blogs (although that too), but create a cadre of reporters who cover workers and workers’ issues. These professional reporters should be within the movement but still independent.”
