McCain on WikiLeaks: “The source of this harmful leak within the U.S. government should face the full penalties of the law… This biased organization seeks to undermine the achievement of a vital national security interest that more than one thousand Americans have already given their lives to safeguard. This is the height of irresponsibility, and all involved should be ashamed of themselves.” — The Hill 7/26/2011 http://bit.ly/cNrY5a

McCain on Qadhafi: A leaked U.S. diplomatic cable shows that Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain promised to help Libyan dictator Muammar Qadhafi obtain U.S. military hardware in 2009. The cable, released by the open information group WikiLeaks, reveals the pledge came at meeting that was attended by other prominent members of Congress, including Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.).” — Politico 8/26/2011 http://politi.co/q0lBBE
